Data-driven HR is as much a journey as a destination. Josh Bersin, principal, Bersin by Deloitte, Deloitte Consulting LLP, says analytics that measure employee engagement and retention are great places to start.
“You will always find something there that you didn’t know,” says Bersin. “You might find retention issues in a certain geography, with a certain manager, in a certain pay level, in a certain job role. In most cases, retention data is relatively easy to get and it’s usually relatively accurate.”
