As we navigate this changing world, one thing has become abundantly clear to me during much uncertainty: we’re more connected than ever as one global community. I’ve watched in awe as our customers, employees, and partners around the world have united in solidarity to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and support our communities.
Reflecting on that—along with an understanding that we're all taking it day-by-day and no one knows how things will look six months from now—we’ve decided to make Workday Rising and Workday Rising Europe one global, digital experience in October. By moving to a free online event, we’ll be able to continue prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of our community, while still delivering a special experience where we celebrate, share, and inspire each other.
Our Workday Rising events are my favorite experiences each year. In many ways, they feel like a school reunion where we get to see our longtime friends, appreciate the many ways we’re connected, and reflect on the successes and experiences we’ve shared. Workday Rising is what the Workday community is all about—the culture, support network, and energy we all thrive on.
You can expect nothing less from us in 2020. Our digital experience will bring you the same energy you’ve come to expect, while also enabling us to engage in new, inventive ways. What’s more, we’re coming together as one global customer community when we need it most, where in addition to sharing our Workday stories—including customer spotlights—we’ll have time to reflect and learn from one another on how we’re all navigating the changing world of work during this time.

Q: What are the dates for the digital experience?
A: We are planning the Workday Rising digital experience for October 2020 and will update the conference website in May with the dates.
Q: Will there be a cost to attend the digital experience?
A: There will be no cost to attend the online keynotes and sessions.
Q: What if I have already committed to sponsor Workday Rising?
A: If you are a sponsor of Workday Rising, you will either receive a full refund or a credit to apply to another Workday event at your discretion (subject to eligibility) within 24 months following the canceled original event.
Q: Will there be an opportunity for sponsors to participate in the digital experience?
