Prior to joining Workday, Carrie served as president of the McKesson Foundation and vice president of corporate citizenship at McKesson Corporation. While there, Carrie developed the McKesson Foundation's "Mobilizing for Health" grant initiative, which encourages the use of mobile technologies in chronic care, and founded Giving Comfort, a not-for-profit supporting low-income chemotherapy patients.
Carrie holds a master's degree in business administration from Golden Gate University, a master's degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University, and a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley. She serves on the board of JVS in San Francisco.
