Celebrating Workday’s 2026 North America Customer Award Winners

Hear from the leaders behind transformations across HR, finance, and IT about what each award means to them.

This week at Workday Rising in Las Vegas, we announced our 2026 North America Customer Award winners. These organizations are reinventing HR, finance, and IT, driving real impact for their people and operations, and laying the foundation for the next era of AI-powered work.

Our Rising Customer awards is one of my favorite moments of the year. In more than seven years at Workday, I've learned that our best ideas rarely start inside our walls. They start with our customers: the problems they bring us, the goals they refuse to scale back, and the questions that push us to build something better.

In more than seven years at Workday, I've learned that our best ideas rarely start inside our walls. They start with our customers: the problems they bring us, the goals they refuse to scale back, and the questions that push us to build something better.

This year’s winners took on transformations at a scale most organizations would hesitate to attempt. Chosen from hundreds of nominations, the winners stand out for bold innovation, measurable results, and a commitment to lasting change over quick wins.

This year, we’re celebrating four kinds of achievement:

  • Global Workplace Transformation Award: Recognizing customers who have used Workday to transform processes, boost productivity, and build a more agile workforce around the world.

  • Powering Innovation Award: Recognizing customers who have and continue to drive groundbreaking innovation to create and shape new business capabilities.

  • Finance for the Future Award: Recognizing customers who have stayed a step ahead by automating financial and spend processes and turning deeper insights into business growth.

  • Highest Impact Overall Transformation Award: Recognizing customers who have implemented the full suite of Workday solutions, transforming their financial, people, and business operations—and delivering measurable value across their organization.

Here's what each award means to the customers who earned it.

Bentley Systems: Finance for the Future Award Winner

“Bentley colleagues put years of their life into a complete reimplementation of our quote-to-cash and financial management systems. To be recognized by our partners for this achievement shows these colleagues what a true success they have really achieved,” said Ruth Sleeter, CIO, Bentley Systems.

“We see AI as an opportunity to let humans do work that truly differentiates them.”

“With these foundations put in place, over the next year we will aggressively reimagine the way we do work across so many functions. We see AI as an opportunity to let humans do work that truly differentiates them, and as an invitation and opportunity to think differently about the work we do. We will use AI to deliver better outcomes for our users, across their lifecycle with Bentley.”

Intermountain Health: Powering Innovation Award Winner

"What makes our story unique is that we delivered ERP while continuing to harmonize a recently merged organization and a major Epic deployment. Workday wasn't just an implementation for us. It became the foundation for a simpler, more connected enterprise and our next chapter of AI-driven innovation,” said Robyn Funcannon, senior director business applications, Intermountain Health.

“Workday wasn't just an implementation for us. It became the foundation for a simpler, more connected enterprise and our next chapter of AI-driven innovation.”

“This recognition reflects the work of a lot of people across the organization. We were balancing a major ERP transformation, continued merger harmonization, and the impacts of a large Epic deployment, all while supporting day-to-day operations. That required tremendous partnership across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, operations, and technology teams. To me, this award recognizes the people who stayed focused on simplification and long-term transformation despite a tremendous amount of change.”

State of Georgia: Highest Impact Overall Transformation Award Winner

"This award honors 30 months of tireless dedication from our 300-plus member multi-agency team. Their collaboration and long hours made this implementation a success, reflecting our shared commitment to improving the way we serve the citizens of Georgia,” said Gerlda Hines, state accounting officer, State of Georgia.

Visa: Global Workplace Transformation Award Winner

"It is a meaningful recognition, and I'm incredibly proud of the team. It validates the ambition of transformation and work many of our teams across Visa are embarking upon,” said Gaurav Srivastava, vice president, head of people products, systems & AI, Visa.

“The award is less about a single platform or launch date, and more about the collective effort required to modernize a complex global hiring ecosystem.”

“For me, the award is less about a single platform or launch date, and more about the collective effort required to modernize a complex global hiring ecosystem. Talent acquisition, people, systems, people, technology, regional teams, as well as change and operations teams have and our partners have all played an important role here."

Genpact: Global Workplace Transformation Award Winner

"We're not approaching transformation as observers. We were operating these environments ourselves while helping many of the world's largest enterprises navigate similar challenges,” said Piyush Mehta, CHRO and country manager, India, Genpact.

“We're not approaching transformation as observers.”
