Als Chief People Officer bei Workday obliegt Ashley Goldsmith die Gesamtverantwortung für das Personalwesen, die interne Kommunikation, das Global Impact-Programm, das Arbeitsplatzmanagement sowie die Workday Foundation.

Vor ihrer Tätigkeit bei Workday war Ashley Chief Human Resources Officer und Executive Vice President bei Polycom. Bevor sie zu Polycom wechselte, war sie Senior Vice President für Personalwesen, Unternehmenskommunikation sowie Umwelt- und Arbeitsschutz des Bereichs Tissue Diagnostics bei F. Hoffmann-La Roche. Davor war sie Chief Human Resources Officer bei Ventana Medical Systems und stand der Personalabteilung von The Home Depot als Vice President vor.

Ashley hat einen Master of Business Administration von der Kellogg School of Management an der Northwestern University, einen Master in Personalentwicklung von der Georgia State University und einen Bachelor in Psychologie von der Vanderbilt University.
