Derek Butts is vice president of product strategy at Workday where he leads the product management and strategy teams responsible for the Workday Planning and Analytics applications.
Since joining Workday in 2008, Derek has served in various leadership roles focused on product, strategy, and business development. Prior to Workday, he spent five years at Intuit where he held product management positions.
Derek holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and psychology from Amherst College.
Recently we announced a partnership with salesforce.com to connect Workday with Salesforce Chatter and Force.com. The announcement generated a number of questions, so we thought we'd share more about the rationale and implications of the partnership.
