Jim Gahagan senior industry director, financial services solution marketing at Workday, where he has global responsibility for the company’s marketing strategy for financial services.
With over 30 years of managerial and consulting experience in financial and information systems management, Jim is skilled in the effective use of information technology to solve complex business problems, particularly within large financial services organizations. Prior to joining Workday, Jim held a variety of senior roles at software companies including IBM, Sterling Commerce, webMethods, and PeopleSoft.
Jim began his financial services career at Merrill Lynch, where he was vice president of the Financial Systems Group and later moved to Goldman Sachs where he was vice president of financial services technology.
Gahagan holds an MBA in information systems and corporate finance from Pace University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Manhattan College.
