Workday Data Center Outage — Updates on Status

The Workday service has been restored for all impacted production customers. We understand that the availability of the Workday service is critical to our customers, and we apologize for this disruption. Customer service is a core value at Workday, and we remain committed to supporting our customers’ needs.
Update as of November 2, 2023 at 3 p.m. PDT
We have restored service for 99% of impacted customers. We are continuing to work diligently to get our remaining impacted customers back online as quickly as possible. We again apologize for the challenges this has caused.
Update as of November 2, 2023 at 2 p.m. PDT
On November 2, 2023, there was a power outage at our Portland, Oregon data center that resulted in a service interruption for some customers. Due to issues with backup power failures, as well as an unstable power environment resulting in additional challenges, service restoration has taken longer than is typical. Power to the data center has been restored, and we’re in the process of getting impacted customers back online as quickly as possible.
Customer service is a core value at Workday. We know that availability of Workday is critical to our customers and we apologize for the challenges this has caused. We are providing regular updates directly to impacted customers, and will keep this blog post updated as well.
