For years, the world's leading brands have trusted Workday to power the most critical parts of their business: people and money. And now, they're using Workday AI not just to make those processes faster but to reshape them entirely—on the same foundation they already trust. More than 65% of the Fortune 500 run on Workday, and over 5,500 customers now use one or more Workday agents, a 35% increase in a single quarter.

Take hiring. Last quarter, customers like BWX Technologies and Cars.com adopted Candidate Experience Agent to answer questions around the clock and coordinate interviews in real time, freeing HR teams to build stronger relationships with qualified candidates. Contract analysis is another example. Customers such as Merit Financial Group and First Student deployed Contract Intelligence Agent, which automatically scans every signed agreement, surfaces terms that matter, and puts those insights in front of the right people for better decision-making.

Customers are also increasingly adopting Sana Enterprise, our AI workbench for HR, finance, and IT that lets teams build, orchestrate, and run AI across the entire enterprise. Last quarter, The Carlyle Group, Delivery Hero (Talabat), and Caterpillar Inc. were among the customers who brought it on board.

And that momentum is only building. Here's how customers drove real results with Workday AI in Q2.

Over 5,500 customers now use one or more Workday agents, up more than 35% from just last quarter.

Customers Report ROI From Sana Enterprise and Workday Agents

The clearest proof of AI's impact is what our customers are doing with it today, and where they’re headed next. In Q2, more customers adopted Sana Enterprise and Workday agents to give employees instant answers, automate payroll compliance, and cut deployment research from hours to minutes.

The Carlyle Group: Giving Employees Immediate Answers and Saving Them From Hunting Through Systems

The Carlyle Group was Workday's twentieth customer, and they're still with us today. They're one of the largest investment firms in the world, and every few years they've chosen to do more with us. Last quarter, they added Sana Enterprise, so their people can ask a question and get an answer instead of hunting through systems.

Mohegan Gaming: Delivering Precise Configuration Breakdowns in Seconds

By leveraging Workday Deployment Agent to instantly trace complex related values and configuration instances, Mohegan Gaming can bypass hours of manual research. For intricate tasks like building nested calculated fields, the agent delivers precise configuration breakdowns in just 30 seconds, enabling administrators to replicate details and begin integration testing within an hour. While these massive technical time savings are impressive, the most invaluable organizational metric is the downstream impact: deploying updates rapidly so that employee focus remains entirely on their core business operations.

Seminole Hard Rock Support Services: Moving from Reactive Troubleshooting to Proactive Compliance

Seminole Hard Rock runs complex weekly payroll for 28,000 employees across multiple countries. The team has used Payroll Agent, nicknamed “Wally,” to automate manual analysis around FLSA calculations, pay statements, configuration issues, retro processes, and transfer-related tax implications. Payroll Agent is helping the team move from reactive troubleshooting to proactive compliance, saving time for centralized payroll operations and enabling Seminole Hard Rock to scale with greater confidence as it expands and brings more Workday modules onto one platform.

CLEAResult: Cutting Manual Analysis from Two Hours to 30 Minutes

CLEAResult, North America’s largest provider of energy efficiency, energy transition, and energy sustainability services, deployed Workday's Deployment Agent and Adoption Agent, significantly reducing research time. Deployment Agent alone trimmed manual analysis of complex reports from two hours to under 30 minutes.

New Customers Are Choosing Workday for AI

In other words, AI is now a foundational part of why companies choose Workday.
