Workday Celebrates Global Ethics Day

To recognize the importance of ethics in the workplace, Workday leaders share how integrity and ethical behavior impact how they show up as leaders and influence their approaches to innovation and transformation. We also celebrate Workday’s receipt of the 2024 World’s Most Ethical Companies Award.

At Workday, we lead with our core values in everything that we do. Integrity, which to us means doing right by our employees, customers, partners, and the broader community, guides all of our business decisions.

Since our inception we’ve worked to build and sustain a culture of honesty and trust, which we recognize requires setting clear expectations, establishing accountability, measuring results, and owning our outcomes.

Workday has been recognized by Ethisphere as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for 4 years in a row.

On this year’s Global Ethics Day, I’m delighted to share insights from some of my colleagues on what integrity means to them and how that shows up in their approach to leadership at Workday.

Below are a few highlights:

  • “To me leading with integrity means creating an environment where every employee is treated with dignity and respect.” —Chief People Officer Ashley Goldsmith

  • “Integrity fosters trust, which is essential to how we analyze data, how we report, and how we make good business decisions.” —Chief Financial Officer Zane Rowe

  • “For me, integrity is all about listening to our customers’ needs and making sure we say yes when we can—maybe when we think it’s possible—and no when we can’t.” —Chief Customer Officer Sheri Rhodes

  • “We’ve been leading by example here for nearly a decade through our commitment to responsible AI governance.”—Chief Technology Officer Jim Stratton

  • “We take immense pride in Workday being such a trusted brand and integrity plays a huge role in that. And we bring our commitment to it to life through our vision of elevating humans and supercharging work.” —Chief Marketing Officer Emma Chalwin
