As we continue to grow and innovate, our industry is taking note. We’re pleased to share that Workday VNDLY was named a Leader and a Star Performer in global research firm Everest Group’s “Vendor Management System (VMS) Products PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2023.”

Everest Group categorized 22 VMS technology providers using its proprietary PEAK Matrix® framework, which evaluates a VMS across the key areas of market impact and capabilities. Workday VNDLY continues to lead the industry, having previously been named a Leader in 2021, and both a Leader and a Star Performer in 2022.
Our placement in the 2023 report was driven by continued growth and strong performances in the two assessment categories: market impact and vision and capabilities.
Our strong score in market impact was influenced by our expanded geographic coverage, customer growth, and positive client feedback. Everest Group also highlighted several key areas where Workday VNDLY is leading the VMS market, including:
Total talent management: According to the assessment, Workday VNDLY boasts the strongest offer of true total talent management (TTM) solutions in the industry, powered by our deep integrations with other Workday products.
Partnerships: The report also highlighted our strong network of partners. It noted the way we work with managed service providers (MSPs) and other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to identify and provision management systems that cater to the varying requirements of our clients.

In the vision and capabilities category, our high position was influenced by recent improvements and products, such as our newly developed decision wizard and improved rate calculator. The report also highlighted our significant investments in next-generation technologies, such as automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI and ML), and natural language processing (NLP). Everest Group additionally pointed to the user-friendly capabilities of our VMS that make daily tasks simpler for our clients, including:
In addition to the overall positioning, a Star Performer designation recognizes improvement on the PEAK Matrix® over time. In the 2023 report, Workday VNDLY improved in both assessment categories and was one of only two VMS providers in the Leader category to earn the special classification.
